The West Alexandria Village Council met in special session on Monday, June 26, 2006. Council members present were Ian Campbell, David Mays, Ron Nisius, Russ Schenck, and Greg Thompson. Carol Lunsford was absent. Mayor was present. Guests: William Bliss, Karen Mays, and Chris Day. Mayor: Mayor informed council about the mayors' meeting on Tuesday evening and the meeting in the annex on Thursday evening concerning the Gasper Township lawsuit. Gasper Township is going to submit an alternative formula for consideration to resolve the 2005 lawsuit. Mayor Suggs and Rick Faber will be attending the Camden council meeting on Wednesday June 28th to inform the council of the details of the Gasper Township lawsuit for 2005. Motion: David Mays moved to waive being paid for the special council meeting due to possible financial circumstances, seconded by Russ Schenck. VV: 5 yea.
