Russ Schenck thanked Kevin Thorpe for joining the Planning Commission.  Russ also reported that Rod Blair is not going to continue to serve on the Planning Commission leaving one seat open on the Commission.

The meeting minutes of the December 5, 2005, were distributed. 
Motion:
Mayor Suggs made a motion to approve the minutes; Kevin Thorpe seconded; motion carried.

Bill Bliss, Zoning Inspector, submitted a report of the zoning activity for 2005. 

The parking spaces on the back property for the antique business located at Greg and  Lizzie Drakelman's home, 29 East Dayton Street, were discussed.  There is inadequate space to meet the parking ordinance previously agreed upon (making 2 asphalt parking spaces; one 9 foot space and one 12 foot handicap space).  A letter will be sent to the Drakelman's requesting they apply for a variance.

Russ Schenck stated that we need to schedule a Saturday work session with Mr. Gross
and also tour his subdivision located in Carlisle, Ohio.  Suggested time to meet is Saturday, January 7, 2006, with Mr. Gross at his Carlisle business.  Chris Day will contact Mr. Gross about the proposed meeting time.  This meeting is open to the public and the date, time and location of the meeting will be posted.
