SIDEWALKS CURBS, & GUTTERS: Ron Nisius asked about the retention pond. He stated that the pipe is 3/4 full of mud. He wants to know if this can be cleaned out and gravel put in. Chris Day stated that upgrades are supposed to be done before the four lots are developed. Chris Day will look at the area and bring it to Mr. Robbins' attention.
OLD BUSINESS: David Mays asked if the property ordinance deals only with mowing. Mr. Day replied that he is checking with Lewisburg on how they do property maintenance. Russ Schenck asked if council needs to have a work session about sidewalk maintenance. Mr. Day has asked other communities how they do sidewalk maintenance. He will compile this information and then maybe have a work session. Ron Nisius had someone approach him about putting things on the sidewalk for a certain amount of time. He does not think this is a good idea. Someone should make sure the sidewalk is not impeded and items should be removed at nighttime.
NEW BUSINESS: Sidewalks are under an ordinance, but need guidelines as to when sidewalks should be repaired. Mr. Faber stated that sidewalks in the right of way are not covered under the property maintenance ordinance. Mayor stated the ordinance needs to be rewritten or amended. The planning commission will discuss this matter at their next meeting. Motion: Greg Thompson moved to adjourn, seconded by David Mays.
