Planning Commission Meeting
Date: Tuesday, March 6, 2006 Time: 6:00 p.m. Village Council Chambers
Present: Mitch Suggs, Village Mayor Bill Bliss, Zoning Inspector Russ Schenck Steve Stockslager Marilyn Dafler
Chris Day reported he met with Mr. Gross and gave him a letter for the proposed zoning of the ERFOLG Reality Co., L.P. located on State Route 35 along with a copy of the proposed zoning map changes. Mr. Gross will respond after he has a chance to look over the plans given him.
A proposal for R-1C Family Residential District was submitted by Bill Bliss. Russ Schenck asked each of us to look over this proposal and that we will discuss it at the next meeting. Motion: Mitch Suggs made a motion to recommend to Council to zone the newly annexed area on the west side of the Village as follows: 1. The Wolfe and Robert properties in Lanier Township to be zoned "R-2" Residential District. 2. 350 ft. taken evenly off the south side of the Erfolg Realty Co., L.P., and Ohio Limited Partnership property in Twin Township to be zoned "B-1" General Business District. 3. The balance of the Erfolg Realty Co., L.P., and Ohio Limited Partnership property in Twin Township to be zoned "AR" Agricultural Conservation District. Zoning to be effective upon the recording of the final annexation proceedings with the Preble County Recorder. Motion seconded by Steve Stockslager; motion carried.
Chris Day inquired about sidewalk standards and sidewalk standards were discussed.
Removal of the sidewalk on the Shepherd property located at 96 East Third Street was discussed. Mitch Suggs made a motion to approve the removal of sidewalks and replacing with grass at the Shepherd property, 96 East Third Street; Steve Stockslager seconded, motion carried.
