The West Alexandria Village Council met in special session on Thursday, October 12, 2006. Those council persons were Ian Campbell, Carol Lunsford, David Mays, Russ Schenck, and Greg Thompson. Ron Nisius was absent. David Mays read notice of special meeting. Motion: Greg Thompson moved to waive council members being paid for the special meeting, seconded by Carol Lunsford. VV: 5 yea. GUESTS: Elizabeth Saunders and Edna Shiverdecker. RESOLUTIONS/ORDINANCES: Second reading of Resolution Regarding the Distribution of Local Government Funds and Local Government Revenue Assistance Funds by the Preble County Budget Commission Pursuant to an Alternative Distribution Formula (R.C. 5747.53 and 5747.63) by title. First reading of Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying Them to the County Auditor by title. First reading of Resolution Authorizing Chester Willcox & Saxbe, LLP to Challenge in Preble County Common Pleas Court the Adoption of Resolution 2004-6 by Gasper Township by title.
